"Excellent Stay!"

Ayden who checked me in is exceptional. My flight was severely delayed and I arrived at 3am exhausted and hungry. He really went above and beyond and told me if they didn’t take my credit card that he was going to lend me his own cash! Junior was also just such a great receptionist when I had to change rooms! I personally found none of the issues stated a thing. But I have custom made ear plugs which I think every traveler should not live without!The location is 8 minute walk to BTS, one train stop away from iconsiam, 10 minutes bts away from all the top five star hotels in Bangkok, and it’s located in a quiet, authentic Thai neighborhood where all the locals smile at me and say hi, next to insanely gorgeous cafes springing out of nowhere like old school speciality cafe and gorgeous food like Jeera Kitchen. Pricing is unbeatable at 15usd per night! I’ve stayed in countless hotels inside Bangkok and it’s just overwhelming and I never enjoyed it and would always leave Bangkok within a day or two before heading to the beach. this is the first time I am really enjoying Bangkok and actually wanting to do more than just a couple days! To me this authentic experience and quiet neighborhood beats busy streets of Bangkok anytime!

"Excellent Hotel with Great Hospitality"

The ExCapital is a beautiful boutique hotel, relatively new and located in a convenient location. Exceptional friendly, efficient and supportive front office members, made our stay very enjoyable. The entire hotel is extremely clean, and house keeping did an excellent job of keeping our room spotless. The rooms are large and well designed. The air conditioning is very quite, strong and easy to control. Bed and pillows, very comfortable. The water pressure is strong. There is a 24/7 laundromat nearby and the BTS, transit is approximately 6 minutes walk from the hotel. The “ExCapitol Hotel” met all of our expectations. We enjoyed our long stay tremendously, and will be returning in February for another two weeks. We do not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we look forward to our return visit. Sincerely, JMM

"Hidden Gem with Great Value for Money in Bangkok"

The Ex Capital Hotel is a hidden gem that deserves to be seen and recognised. In my opinion, it is one of the best value-for-money hotels I have come across. The basic room I booked was not only modern but also spacious, with a balcony that allows you to step out for fresh air. Moreover, all the facilities in the room were in good working condition, ensuring a comfortable stay. During my time at the hotel, I had put up the do-not-disturb sign on my door, and to my pleasant surprise, the staff had placed fresh bottles of water and toilet rolls outside my room, showing attention to detail and thoughtfulness. On the day of my checkout, I got delayed coming back from another town and requested a late checkout upon my return to the hotel. The staff was incredibly accommodating and did not charge me any extra fees, making my experience even more enjoyable. One thing worth mentioning is that the road leading up to the hotel is narrow and the hotel itself may not be immediately visible to drivers, which could cause some confusion and delays in reaching the property. However, it is only a 10-minute walk to the Krung Thon Buri BTS station, and from there, it takes about 20 minutes on the BTS to reach Siam, a popular shopping and entertainment area in Bangkok. In general, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ex Capital Hotel, and I would definitely consider staying here again if I need to be based around the area. The attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and reasonable prices make it a standout choice for travelers seeking value for money in Bangkok.

"Travel friendly low-cost hotel"

I stayed in this hotel for more than a week and my experience in dealing with their staff was very nice. I would recommend this place given that the price is low and rooms are clean. First of all, given I was with a very big group I appreciated the fact that they changed their breakfast menu just for our group given the number of days we were staying. They offered Thai food which was really great. Their original breakfast menu was really limited and technically the same except how the egg would be cooked but this would not be a big fuzz given as early as 8am there are already a lot of vendors outside selling very delicious food. Also, there are at least 5 convenience stores just close to the hotel. Second, the hotel is very close to a night market which makes everything every convenient from street food, fruits, some clothes and other items to buy from. Not to mention there is also a 24 hour self service laundry shop around 100m away from the hotel. Thirdly, hotel staff we're really nice and very accommodating. They helped me out through out my stay that some even learned our words. I even got to learn their accent. The hotel even had a promo that for every 2 days without room cleaning you get a free soda which was very generous. Lastly, the hotel is situated at least 300m away from from the Krung Thon Buri train station which was a convenient walk. So, maybe not near enough but along the way there would be lots of food options one can choose from if they want to experience Bangkok. Also, for those who hate walking you may also hail a motorcycle to take you to the nearest train station. Note that superior rooms are usually for couples though.
