"Has a chance to be great!"
So close to being the best – but the evenings (and a few other things) let it down. We’ve just returned from an 11-night stay at this hotel, and while there’s so much to love, there are also some real frustrations that stop it from being an “absolutely would return” destination. It’s right on the edge of greatness — a few improvements would take it from good to exceptional. --- What was brilliant: Fantastic family facilities: The outdoor areas are genuinely impressive. There’s a great five-a-side football pitch and a basketball court — both of which were big hits with our children. But what really stood out was how safe these specific areas were. Let me be clear — I’m only talking about these two zones here: the football pitch and basketball court are completely enclosed, with high fences topped with barbed wire and no access from the outside. Kids can’t scale the fencing to wander off, and no one can climb in from the street. As parents, that gave us real peace of mind. You can let the kids play freely without worrying they’ll end up outside the resort grounds. Slides and pools: The slides are brilliant — fast, fun, and suitable for both kids and adults. Pools were clean, plenty of sunbeds available, and staff kept things well maintained. The staff – a standout feature: Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional. From reception to entertainment, chefs, waiters, and housekeeping — they all created a genuinely positive, welcoming vibe. We never experienced poor service, and that really elevated the whole stay. Bar service and drinks: Bar staff were prompt and efficient, with a decent selection of drinks — local beers, soft drinks, unbranded spirits, iced coffees, and even Baileys. The spirits are quite weak (one whisky we saw was just 19%), but given Türkiye’s relaxed drinking culture, that wasn’t unexpected. We just grabbed a branded bottle from a shop to top up our mixers — problem solved. Food quality and variety: The restaurant is large and well-run, with a truly impressive range of food. From Turkish favourites to international staples, there’s something for everyone. You could easily enjoy: A full English breakfast each morning — eggs, sausages, beans, hash browns, toast. Family-friendly options for picky eaters like burgers, chips, nuggets, and pizza. Lighter bites like sushi, fresh salads, and grilled vegetables. Hot chocolate and a good coffee selection. A wide variety of lovely desserts — cakes, pastries, and fruit that changed daily. Everything was replenished quickly, tables cleared efficiently, and even at peak times it didn’t feel chaotic. A real highlight of the stay. WiFi – surprisingly excellent: No charges, and it worked everywhere. We were getting speeds of 20–30 Mbps — more than enough for streaming, video calls and social media. Great to see a resort not cashing in on WiFi like many others do. --- What really let it down: Evening entertainment – poorly planned and extremely disappointing. This was the most frustrating part of the entire stay. A resort of this size and quality should offer consistent and engaging evening options. Unfortunately, it felt more like a guessing game. There was no schedule — no board, no leaflet, no app, and no announcements. We were left guessing which bar (if any) might have music or entertainment. It was wildly inconsistent. On our first night, we found a bar with a brilliant live band and thought, “this is it!” But the next night, that same bar was dead quiet — no band, no playlist, no atmosphere. So, we tried the other bar... only to be met with a bingo night. That was it. Not even background music before or after. We switched again the next night and it was, again, completely dead. Just silence and guests quietly chatting or playing cards, trying to create their own entertainment. It became a nightly gamble. You’d walk between bars trying to find something to do. But most nights it felt like the hotel just gave up after 9pm. It was honestly baffling. No fallback vibe. Even on quieter nights, there was no attempt to create ambience. Why not put on some music? A playlist of Queen, ABBA, acoustic covers — anything with some energy or charm. Instead, we were left sitting in silence with nothing but clinking glasses and background hums. This could be fixed so easily. A live act every other night, or even just a rotating playlist, wouldn’t break the bank — and it would completely transform the guest experience. For the price people pay to stay here, it’s a surprisingly avoidable weakness. For us, it was a dealbreaker. The lack of entertainment is the main reason we wouldn’t return, and it’s a shame — because the rest of the stay was great. --- Other areas that missed the mark: Amphitheatre seating: Entertainment is held here some nights, but the setup is uncomfortable. Concrete benches with no backs — after 15 minutes your back hurts, your legs go cold, and you're shifting constantly. It makes you want to leave early. Proper seating would be a relatively easy fix with a big impact. Kids club timing: The kids’ club runs from 8–9pm, and the kids’ show is from 10–11pm. For little ones, that’s just too late. Ours were wiped out well before the show started. Shifting everything an hour earlier would make it far more suitable for families with younger children. Daytime activities – inconsistent: There were days with great poolside vibes — party music, water polo, games — and then days with just background bassy dance music that didn’t engage anyone. No communication meant you never really knew what was going on, and as a result, guests missed out on joining in. Spa indoor pool: Looks great in photos, but it’s absolutely freezing. It was colder than the outdoor pool. We tried it once and didn’t return — and judging by the emptiness, neither did most guests. A little heat would make a big difference. Lift issues: The hotel has four lifts, but only two were working the entire time we were there. That led to long waits at peak times and was particularly frustrating for families with prams or older guests who needed them. For a hotel this size, it’s simply not good enough. --- Final thoughts: We had a really good holiday overall. The staff are a credit to the resort, the food was varied and fresh with something for everyone (including proper English favourites), and the facilities — particularly the secure kids' sports courts — were brilliant. But the complete lack of structured or even basic evening entertainment made the resort feel like it lost momentum after sunset. People remember how a place made them feel — and when evenings feel flat or forgotten, it lingers. With just a little more care — clear daily entertainment info, background music, and one or two live acts per week — this hotel could become a standout favourite for families and couples alike. Until then, we’d recommend it... but with a caveat. If you’re looking for lively evenings and a fun social buzz after dark — this may not be the place just yet.

"Wonderful hotel, but Brit guests spoilt it!"
The hotel in itself was lovely, abit tired in the main reception area, but the outside was amazing. It's not so far from the main strip and beach (about 10/15 minutes walk) Food was very good (desserts, not so much). So much variety, but very jumbled up. So you end up putting random bits of food on your plate, but it was tasty. Snack bar was fab, especially the wraps and the homemade pizzas are the best we have ever had!!!! Also, there are no hand sanitizer stations anywhere in the restaurant or hotel so everyone is using the same utensils which isn't the best. You get some guests mauling the food before they choose what they want. The cocktails were watered down I would say as I had quite a few and didn't feel tipsy. Shame there were no Pina Coladas on the menu. Hubby enjoyed the beer and the kiddies enjoyed asking for their own drinks. Milk hot chocolate from machine is lovely. If you're a tea drinker, look out for the red packaging tea bags, not lipton as it's lemon tea. The black tea bags are usually in the club B block by the bar and the big pool bar area. They aren't in the rooms or main dining area. Entertainment was ok, enjoyed the pool entertainment, but the nighttime starts late from 9pm (kids mini disco outside, then bingo in pool bar and back outside for the main show at 10pm) However, if it rains its tough as the stage is outside so you're going to get wet. Unfortunately, we missed quite a few show nights as they were late/weather was not good. Shame we missed out the Turkish night due to the rain. The reception area was not really inviting and only had a small bar. Only sat in there twice for a max of half hour in our 10 night stay. Plus it was quite crowded and noisy. Children would play football in there. The shop/tattoist/spa was amazing!!! Definitely recommend at Turkish bath with a massage and also a tattoo :) Maids we're so friendly and always left us towel animals. Always the same maids, so do make sure to leave them a little tip as they work so hard. Also, the cleaners around the pool/restaurant. They work just as hard as the bar staff and waiters/waitresses. Now for the cons... guests!!!! If I could describe this hotel unfortunately, it's like an abroad Butlins for certain stereotypical asbo guests. Some children were feral, had no discipline, but judging by the families you can see it's been passed down from generation to generation. Sometimes the mainshow couldn't begin as parents wouldn't get their children off the stage. Some of the guests I could imagine their neighbours would of been relieved for them to be away. Children banging on doors in the early hours and adults been so loud in the hallways. No consideration for others. Parents would let their children play football in the reception area. Security would tell them to stop, but they would just carry on as parents didn't intervene. A certain number of young teenagers kept using laser pens aiming them on the stage at the entertainment staff and young children. Then I saw them with their parents and the children using the pens again, but no displine from the parents. Dirty nappies had been left on side tables of the small pool and the amount of guests who just leave their tables in a mess after eating/drinking is disgusting. I did feel ashamed to be a Brit in this hotel if I am honest. Some other guests I spoke to said they had witnessed actual fighting between grown men&women. When we checked out, one couple were so drunk at check in their young children had to check in for them!!! The pools were absolutely freezing I would say I went in there 3 times for 10 mins. Sooooo cold, but didn't stop my children from enjoying the themselves and the waterslides Oh and the sunbed situation, you just be up by 7am to lay down your towels. I didn't know about this rule and did feel awful about doing it after day 3, but you literally have no choice unless you want a sunbed. Be careful about the games room too, my children got told off for being in there without tokens and can only be in there if they have them. My husband quickly had a strong word with the young staff member in there who clearly wasn't bothered of his actions. So to some it up, it's a lovely hotel with wonderful staff and surroundings, but it's very busy, noisy and full of alot of rough families (not that I'm a snob) just prepare yourself for the type of guests that are in the hotel. Oh and please look out for the hotel's cats and rabbits dotted around everywhere. Also, the wild boars that come down from the mountains!!

"Awful first time"
I’ll start with the good points Bed is extremely comfy Bar is well stocked Maids are lovely, bottled water each day, shower is strong, rooms are clean, staff are friendly Food is plentiful Now on to the bad points The aircon is old and is more like a jail aircon than an actual system, when we arrived the balcony door was broken. Our shower drain is also broken with cracks in the floor, dangerous as it could easily slice your foot open Day 4 in to our holiday and we’re both sick. Vomiting and diareahh we’ve been confined to our room for 2 days solid Kids and adults picking up food with hands, taking bites out of food and leaving it on the counter which has probably caused our illness. Bar and pool areas messy, drinks and food everywhere. Spillages on stairs which haven’t been cleaned up, pool area massively slippy witnessed a few people falling over. Would I return? Not a chance I’ll go to the diamond next time
